University professor questions Nunavut’s health claims regarding Iqaluit water crisis

Iqaluit, Nunavut – A Laval University environmental engineering professor is questioning the territorial government’s assertion that no long-term health issues are likely to stem from the city’s water crisis. Rosa Galvez says department of health data doesn’t account for what was or wasn’t tested for during last fall’s crisis in which Iqaluit’s drinking water supply was contaminated with diesel fuel.
